30,000 view on my mom journey

A bit about me: I've lived in New Jersey all my life. Well, ok, I made a brief escape to the big bad Bronx to attend Fordham University. The decision to raise my kids here was actually a hard one. New Jersey was a place I had always wanted to escape, yet here I stayed. I worked for an obtained a masters from Ruters University. I graduated from RU pregnant, and the minute my first daughter was born I knew I had to stay home. It wasn't easy (we'll probably explore some of that later), and soon 2 more kids were added to the brood. Three kids under 4 1/2 - I look back now and don't know how I survived a day let alone managed to brush my teeth. Over the course of my mommy years I've done it all, stay-at-home-mom, student-mom, part-time-working-mom, full-time-mom and have stayed basically sane through the many transitions. Add "single" to the front of each of those titles and well, I have worn many hats. The most important has certainly been mom.
